Together Against Wind

Together Against Wind is a simple not for profit organisation that is attempting to bring together all the various campaigns against wind farms in the UK. It is designed to compliment other campaigns and hopefully help coordinate everyone, so we get to speak very loudly indeed and with one voice. It is essentially what our opponents have been doing with great success to ensure that wind subsidies were not massively cut over the summer.

The organisation is run by Chris Heaton-Harris MP and has a simple aim of changing government policy in this area by combining grassroots and parliamentary campaigns and spreading best practice. It will also try to identify areas for research that might help us all and eventually provide useful resources to those fighting wind farm proposals across the country.

To sign up for regular updates please e-mail your name and address and contact phone number to: togetheragainstwind1@gmail.com

Please also include a brief outline of why you are interested in the campaign and let us know if you have any relevant expertise that might be useful to others in this network.

Please let other like-minded folk know of this campaign and get them to join. The more people we have, the louder our combined voice and the stronger our impact will be.

About Dougal Quixote

Slightly mad. Always believes a cup is half full so continues to tilt at Wind Turbines and the politicians that seem to believe it is their god given right to ruin Scotland for a pot of fool's gold.
