Cornwall and Devon sink under wind too!.

About Dougal Quixote

Slightly mad. Always believes a cup is half full so continues to tilt at Wind Turbines and the politicians that seem to believe it is their god given right to ruin Scotland for a pot of fool's gold.

One Response to Cornwall and Devon sink under wind too!.

  1. Once upon a time so the story began only this one will not have a happy ending. The West Country like many parts of Scotland were holiday haunts of mine. Were being the operative word because those places of differing beauties will see me no more. It is my guess many more are seeing a different light to that put forward by politicians and who will suffer. Not the politicians. Not Landowners or turbine developers. Nor the greedy councillors who think they are upto being politicians.

The ones to really suffer are folk in rural areas, In small coastal ports. Those who depend on Tourism for their daily bread. The very folk who can least do with mega industrial turbines and everything that goes with them apart, that is, the power they are supposed to generate. It will be impossible for these islands to meet the supposed targets for emissions. Anyone with even the slightest knowledge of the various gasses in the atmosphere will know the folly of these carbon cuts.

All they are cutting is the amount of savings the local populace hold helped along by the Robbing Hoods. As to the millions brought by seasonal visitors much whistling in whatever wind blows will soon be heard. Wind Turbine Syndrome has many forms. The worst are those you can not hear only feel.
