When will our Leaders, Clegg and Cameron, with the supreme troughers of Gummer and Yeo cheering on from the sidelines, realise that all that Germany wants is for us to subsidise German jobs for the likes of Seimens. Germany is in a terrible state where their power industry came within a hair’s breath of a total blackout only a few days ago. They cannot afford to be isolated so pressurise the brilcream boys of Westminster to stand by their sides. Problem is that our bright sparks cannot see that they are laughing fit to bust at our stupidity.

Wind V. Coal
Quote of the Decade
"The trouble with wind farms is that they have a very large spatial footprint for a piddling little bit of electricity. You would need 8oo turbines to produce the output of a coal-fired power station."
Sir Martin Holgate, Chief Scientist at the Department of the Environment of the British Government - October 2004
