White Elephants seen in North Sea

German offshioreOn the day that the Prime Minister welcomes the opening of the London Array, The Economist has a thought provoking article on Germany’s off-shore industry, it’s reliance on Dutch investment and the saving angel of Mitsubishi? Should we be looking over our shoulder at Germany’s problems with off-shore before we embark on any more construction, in particular the proposed Forth, Moray/Beatrice and Tiree off-shore wind farms.
