This from BBC Cumbria. Click here for video and story about the water problems that have beset a village and a trout farm since the construction of Tallantire Wind Farm by RES. Of course the hydrologists brought in by RES, no doubt the same ones in the Environmental Survey will say that the Wind Farm has not effected the water source and any mitigation to offset any minor issues will be as nothing. The only response is not only to take the wind farm down but also remove the many thousands of tons of concrete and roadways that were used in the construction. Some hope!!
The only light relief in a most depressing saga is that the operator of the Trout Farm is one Gilbert PIKE. If ever a name was more appropriate and we wish him well!
