Methel experiment runs into problems

methil broken

The experimental Methil off-shore on-shore wind turbines seems to have a wee problem. According to the operators this is routine maintenance? Locals reported horrific noise issues in the first days of operation but now we find that a blade has been removed. Now whether it is normal to remove a blade for routine maintenance within days of commissioning is debatable but it was that soon that the crane that had erected it was still on site. ‘Nuff said!

Slightly mad. Always believes a cup is half full so continues to tilt at Wind Turbines and the politicians that seem to believe it is their god given right to ruin Scotland for a pot of fool's gold.
