Paul Griffiths – Approved 19 out of 22 wind farms

This article in the Telegraph tells it as it is. How can one civil servant continuing overturn the democratic will of the people. We have our own dodgy reporters in Scotland who we know will do everything within their powers to approve a wind farm despite locally elected councillors having turned them down. And I will name and shame one as we cannot democratically get him removed as not fit for purpose. Trevor Croft who approved Tralorg last week. There is a way forward which in judicial revue but that costs a great deal of money, something few opposition groups have, and must have a basis that suggests that information was either ignored or mal-presented. Paul Griffiths has come in for criticism before but despite that no one has sacked him. Could it be that he does the bidding of the Secretary of State at the DECC(Ed Davey) to his ultimate satisfaction? Below is a list of some of the wind farms that Friifiths has approved against locally democratic refusals:

Lyveden New Bield

The site of the Battle of Naseby and Kelmarsh Hall

Nettleton Hill

Teddar Hill, Yorkshire

Barnwell Manor, Northamptonshire

Clacton on Sea

Ashby Magna, Leicestershire

Roos Wind Farm, Yorkshire

Silloth, Cumbria

About Dougal Quixote

Slightly mad. Always believes a cup is half full so continues to tilt at Wind Turbines and the politicians that seem to believe it is their god given right to ruin Scotland for a pot of fool's gold.
