Methil Wind Turbine – The Reality!

A few months ago an off-shore wind turbine was built in Methil, Fife effectively on-shore and in close proximity to local houses.

The seven megawatt machine, located just 50 metres off the coast at Methil, will act as a test bed for Korean owners Samsung Heavy Industries as they look to prove out the technical capabilities of the cutting edge device. So cutting edge that hardly was it up than one blade came down.

The truth is very different from the “Spin” as this video will demonstrate.
