Back in May 2012 I posted info on the first(?) compressed air car, the Airpod. Well Peugot bought out the design and we thought it was to be consigned to an urban myth. Peugot has now launched a prototype of a Petrol/Air hybrid with an interesting 117mpg capacity. Hopefully available next year. Coming on line the day after reports of the terrible smogs in China it reminds us that there is more to life than just AGW and CO². And we have the technologies to improve our lives if we stopped wasting £100 millions on such wasted causes as carbon capture.
